Let City Commissioners Know That You Support Expansion of the Program!
Our March Green Drinks meeting was fantastic with a fabulous turnout of 19 people at the beautiful TiAmo restaurant in downtown Gainesville. I hope that those in attendance will take time to upload their information to our site, or please send me a paragraph about your project or event so I can post it here. I plan to provide more details about the meeting soon, but in the meantime, I’d like to share a quick note about an issue and meeting that Harry Kegelman, owner of Advanced Solar Technologies, suggested we may wish to attend tonight. Harry brought us up to speed on the rapidly evolving Solar Feed in Tariff program for Gainesville. The program has already sold out to capacity and has a waiting list that will consume it for the next three years. Harry encouraged members of the community to let the City Commission know of your support for the program and suggested anyone who can make plans to attend a meeting about this tonight, March 5, at 6 p.m. at Gainesville City Hall adjacent to the downtown plaza at 200 E. University Ave.
Let us know how it goes!
