President of The Center for an Agricultural Economy to Speak March 23 at Thomas Center

Tom Stearns, owner of High Mowing Organic Seeds and president of The Center for an Agricultural Economy, will give a presentation and workshop at the Thomas Center in Gainesville Monday, March 23. From 12:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. key community stakeholders will gather for a targeted presentation and workshops. The general public is invited to attend from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. The Center for an Agricultural Economy is a Hardwick, Vt., nonprofit founded in 2004 to emphasize the importance of local foods and serves as a clearinghouse for community programs and resources needed to develop a locally based system of healthy foods.For details…http://foginfo.org/new.php
