we have so much to learn about living in harmony with nature and especially animals. Here is a compelling story about people trying to help young elephants orphaned when their parents are slaughtered by tusk hunters, who can earn $1000 USD per tusk. It’s an uphill battle, and of course, these children who’ve witnessed the murder of their parents, have a long, hard path back to normal, natural lives. When will our civilization learn to respect animals as thinking, feeling, beings? We have a long row to hoe, too.
