Bird strikes are far more common than previously acknowledged. While the danger to planes and passengers is paramount, what about the cost to avian life? If planes are such a threat to wildlife, why do we continue current flight patterns and practices? In a sustainable world, we will take this cost to wildlife into consideration, and we will make changes in order to protect bird populations in airline flight paths. All life is precious.
