Green Drinks Gainesville will be held in a new location in July.
Co-owner Ludivine Kail has generously offered our group a 10 percent discount on dinners for our meeting, 6 – 8 p.m. July 1, Luca’s Pasta, 607 W. University Ave., at the corner of 6th St. and University (free parking in the Central Office Supply lot).
Luca’s Pasta is a locally owned restaurant with an all natural menu and a green focus. We offer all biodegradable packaging and have organic options for Pasta and drinks. Our restaurant is unique in that it offers a create-your-own-pasta menu. Customers can pick from plain to organic to whole wheat pastas, add all natural home made vegetarian sauces and diverse toppings. We also offer grilled sandwiches and salads and wonderful deserts.
Chris Bird, Director of the Alachua County Department of Environmental Protection, will join us to offer an update on the Koppers Superfund site plan.
Bring info about your Green Projects to show off and share!
Our group has opted to try different restaurants each month, so if you would like to recommend a restaurant that is making an effort to be more sustainable by serving local or organic foods, better managing waste or providing living wages for staff, please let us know!
See you at Luca’s on July 1st!
