U.S. Government Takes Responsibility for Cleaning Up Environmental Destruction

asbestosGoGreenNation: In spite of the fact that a U.S. Court recently absolved corporate giant W.R. Grace of responsibility for poisoning the town of Libby, Montana through its asbestos mining, which has been linked to hundreds of deaths and diseases in the community, our new E.P.A. administration has pledged to clean up the toxic  mess. Thank you, Lisa Jackson!

“We’re making a long-delayed commitment to the people of Libby and Troy, based on a rigorous re-evaluation of the situation on the ground, we will continue to move aggressively on the cleanup efforts and protect the health of the people,” Lisa Jackson, EPA Administrator.
