Nitrate Pollution in Florida Springs and Cancer

You are invited to CANCER CONNECTIONS on Wednesday, September
23, 2009 at the Winn – Dixie Hope Lodge.  The speaker is Jim
Stevenson, Chief Biologist from the Florida State Park System.  He
will be discussing the nitrate pollution of our north central
Florida springs and its effects on bladder cancer.
Please bring a
dish to share or $3 donation to cover the cost of your lunch.

Cancer Connections is all about bringing together in one place a
diverse group of area cancer care professionals and interested
lay-people, including nurses, hospital social workers, U.F.
researchers, therapists, support group representatives, ACS
volunteers, and survivors. Anyone who is involved in the care or
treatment of cancer patients/survivors/caregivers, or who provides
a service to them, as well as interested survivors, is welcome to
join us for networking opportunities.
