3rd Fermentation Workshop In the wake of Sandy’s visit, there will be aFREE COMMUNITY CLASS and FERMENTATION POTLUCK Community Ferment!
WHEN:    Sunday, January 10th from 3-6pm WHERE:  The Presbyterian Disciples of Christ Student Center
1402 West University Avenue WHO:       ALL ARE WELCOME!  Donations toward the use of the Student Center will be accepted.   WHAT:     This community workshop will be facilitated by a few of Gainesville’s passionate, experienced and knowledgeable fermentation enthusiasts.  An overview and introduction to fermentation, with demos and time for group participation.  Bring graters, cutting boards, knives, clean jars, and vegetables, esp. root veggies and brassicas.  After the class, Sandor will come join us for the potluck dinner as we pass around our bubbling bottles of brew and souring crocks of kraut.  Even if you’ve never (intentionally) fermented anything in your life, you are still welcome to join in the fun!  You could bring some yogurt or pickles or microbrew or sourdough or that interesting smelling mystery jar that you accidentally forgot to put in the fridge last week.
