On Saturday, the 30th there will be a public grand opening with guided tours and a public open house on the 31rst. Please feel free to let your folks know that they are invited.”

Jan 28th – Thursday from 2:30pm – 5:30pm at Longleaf Village on Archer Road. Ribbon Cutting event for Florida’s first production Zero Energy Home

Jan 30th –  Saturday from Noon until 5pm at Longleaf Village on Archer Road. Public grand opening with guided tours

Jan 31st –  Sunday from Noon until 5:00 pm at Longleaf Village on Archer Road. Public tours.

Feb 1st – 5th  Monday through Friday from 5:00pm until 7:00pm at Longleaf Village on Archer Road

From Ken Fonorow: “One of the most challenging obstacles to the wider use of solar is that lenders and appraisers do not consider the reduction in the monthly cost of ownership due to a lower utility cost during the appraisal and lending process. If one could reduce their utility cost by say, $200 a month this would represent an additional $40,000 that could be financed assuming a  5% 30 year fixed rate mortgage without increasing the owners monthly cost of ownership – PITI+E. Efficiency=affordability.”
