Count me among those who are gravely disappointed in Obama’s support for nuclear power: It is too costly, producing $1 million in profit for plant owners EACH DAY (and we should subsidize this?); nuclear power plants consistently leak radiation; we have no way to safely dispose of radioactive waste produced in the power cycle; and the plants post a security hazard. PLEASE PUT THIS MONEY TOWARD TRULY RENEWABLE ENERGY, MR. PRESIDENT!
