On Tuesday, June 8, 2010, the Alachua County Board of County Commissioners (BoCC) will be considering a staff presentation and citizen comments on Alachua County’s Water Conservation Initiative Report http://www.alachuacountywater.us. This report describes 116 water conservation “opportunities” to reduce water consumption in Alachua County. The staff presentation identifies nine water conservation opportunities for further priority evaluation and requests BoCC direction regarding Alachua County’s implementation of new water conservation initiatives.
