Solar Tour Sunday

Posted by Trish Riley, October 1, 2010

From Don Davis:
The timing of this year’s Solar Tour fits well with Gainesville Regional Utilities’ recent announcement that they will open up their Feed In Tariff Incentive Program for solar photovoltaic systems of 10 killowatts or less. I think the rate ($ .32/kwh) will remain the same for those who apply the first week of October and are accepted. But, come to Indigo on 4th Avenue at 2pm on Sunday and hear all the details from the head guru, Ed Regan. Following Ed’s talk, you will have the opportunity of visiting solar photovoltaic sites. In years past they have included a commercial site and several homes. You can go to see one or all. It’s a real opportunity to poke around in someone’s backyard and check out their solar installation so I encourage you to attend
