Santa Fe College is offering 17 new courses for the Spring 2011 Community Education term. Classes will begin by Saturday, Apr. 9.

One of the new courses, taught by Stefanie Hamblen, founder of Hogtown HomeGrown, focuses on basic cooking skills for preparing local, seasonal foods.
EATING LOCAL COOKING CLASS
Sharpen your basic cooking skills while learning to cook with seasonal local food. Emphasis on healthy, fresh food for quick weekday meals and weekend cook ahead recipes. Each class includes tasting all food prepared in class.
