Don’t miss this one of kind presentation by world famous underwater photographer, Bruce Mozert and help make a Splash for our Springs!
Meet: 9:00 AM Saturday, June 30th at Ray Wayside Park to stage kayaks, canoes, boats. $5.00 parking per vehicle. The Clubhouse is next to the boat ramp at 9570 NE 28th Lane, just off of Hwy 40, (next to Ray Wayside Park) about four miles east of Silver Springs Theme Park.
Presentation: 10:00 AM Bruce Mozert will show vintage photos and/or underwater film footage at the Ocala Boat Club and discuss the changes he has seen regarding the clarity and conditions of the springs and river.
Launch: 11:00 AM and gather in boat basin for photo op for newspapers. Bring Adena protest and/or spring protection signs to wave from the dock or from your boat.
12:00 PM: Start self guided tour of Silver River at your own pace. Return at the time of your own choosing OR
Picnic in the cool AC of the boathouse (til 5:00 PM). Bring your own picnic
