The recent re-discovery of wild Harpy Eagles in southern Belize by BFREE, (a Gainesville-based non-profit) has been the catalyst for the development of a dynamic bird conservation program run by BFREE and supported by multiple universities and organizations in the U.S. and Belize. BFREE Co-Founder and Executive Director, Jacob Marlin, and BFREE Avian program coordinator, William Garcia, will share their experiences creating and leading the various pieces of this successful program, which has been awarded international recognition for bird conservation efforts by the U.S. organization, Partners in Flight.

Withoutabox members until November 18th, 2012. Issues addressed in films may include food, water, waste, energy, chemical contamination, population, social justice, sustainability, animals, sustainable business and green building and the categories available for entry are:

Documentary International College Student Short Film
Florida High School Student PSA Florida Local Film
All selected film makers will receive a VIP pass for the entirety of the festival. Winner prizes include certificate and laurel.
