Plum CreekPlum Creek Timber, a real estate investment trust that is the largest private landowner in the USA, is one impressive corporation. They learned how to sell urban development in rural areas when they brought golf courses and luxury housing deep into the forests of Suncadia in Washington, Moonlight Basin and Yellowstone Club in Montana, and, most recently, Moosehead Lake in Maine. Now they want to do the same here in Alachua County.
