Watching the destruction of the bountiful landscape helped me realize that we need to speak out to protect our natural paradise. I have been writing about environmental issues since 1992, trying to help inform readers about the issues at hand and helping raise awareness of the importance of preserving our heritage before we've traded it all away in exchange for corporate profit. I'm a mom,and it's important to me that we reverse the environmental destruction we've wrought on our planet so we can ensure a healthy future for our children. </p>
